Thank you for stepping up and coaching. We would not have soccer available locally without
volunteers like you. We hope you find the experience as rewarding as you do challenging.

As any youth athletic organization should, AYSO has a few prerequisites before you
take the helm. Heres what they need:

Register on AYSO's website

This will be just your basic registration information.

Once you register, you will need to select the position in which you are applying for (i.e.. Head Coach, Assistant Coach) under        
the volunteer tab

Complete AYSO's Concussion Training

In light of the growing awareness of concussions and their permanent damage on developing young brains, concussion
awareness is a key ingredient to keeping our young athletes safe. Your concussion awareness certification can be found here.

Complete Safe Haven Training

Another resource that AYSO utilizes to help keep our children safe is the Safe Haven training module. These modules cover a     range of information that helps keep the team safe as well as the coach.

Attend AYSO University Class

   Attend the AYSO University class that pertains to the age group you're coaching at. This will provide pertinent points for both           sport and the age in which you intend to coach.
